"The cows are winning." says my friend who lives in the mid west.  And it's true; they easily out number the humans in this flat prairie town.  Though still not quite as badly as two states up, where the numbers say there are four cows for every man, woman and child.

"So," I tell her, "That makes every burger a small victory."
